University of Waterloo 2023 is a fully funded scholarship with a lot of benefits. This scholarship is for International students who want to obtain a degree from their various courses of study(Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D.). University of Waterloo scholarship grant is valued at up to $10,000 which is completely based on merit.

The scholarship is brought to you by David Johnston–Lebovic Foundation International Experience Awards via University of Waterloo to highly successful candidates in support of Canadian and international students. This is a full-time program open to students from all over the world who wish to study in any of the Waterloo Faculty’s undergraduate or graduate programs. Based on their award allocation, faculties will nominate qualified students. Students will be chosen based on their academic excellence as evidenced in their graduate program application.

Requirements for University of Waterloo Scholarship Criteria

– Is available to all international students all over the world.

– The language Proficiency requirements must show English (The language of instruction for UWaterloo is English for all programs, so you must have satisfactory IELTS, TOEFL, or any other acceptable language proficiency test scores.)

– Candidates who have good academic standing (normally a minimum 70% average at the undergraduate level; normally a minimum 75% average at the graduate level) are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

– The candidate must be a full-time undergraduate and graduate student in any of the faculty in which he/she wishes to participate in an international experience in Israel, which includes a little paid or volunteer international co-op work placement, a volunteer placement, an academic exchange, or a study term that is related to academic requirements.

– Foreign students who have a valid Canadian study permit and have registered full-time and assessed international school fees.

– Normally given to students in research-based programs (thesis or major research paper).

–  It’ll only be given to students who entered for the first term of their program (term 1.0).

– Students must demonstrate academic excellence through criteria established by the Faculty.

– Intending Students must have met up with the academic progress requirements of their programme and also not have outstanding probationary admission requirements.

What Does University of Waterloo Scholarship 2023 Cover?

– The David Johnston–Lebovic Foundation International Experience grants are worth up to $2,500 for a one-term study experience, $2,500 to $5,000 for a one-term work or volunteer experience, and up to $10,000 for a two-term work or volunteer experience.

– International Master’s Award of Excellence grants worth $2,500 per term for a maximum of 6 terms

How to Apply for the Fully-funded Scholarships at the University of Waterloo?

To apply for the David Johnston–Lebovic Foundation International Experience grant, please follow the steps below:

– Applicants must enroll in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a university via uwaterloo.ca/future-students/admissions/how-to-apply

– Applicants can view the application on their forms pages after they have been admitted.

– Applicants must include a personal statement that references the application form. To achieve the basic requirements for admission, all applicants must present proof of their English language competence.

To apply for the International Master’s Grant of Excellence scholarship, please follow the steps below:

– No additional scholarship application is required because students will be automatically considered for this award based on their admissions application.
