The continuous strike in University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH, Ilorin, Kwara State, has prompted the awkward passing of a female understudy of the college, who was surged there on crisis.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, reviewed the pitiful occurrence at a meeting with columnists. He clarified that the female understudy was conceded in the college center for three days until there was the need to surge her to the showing clinic, when her condition got to be basic.
Ambali said: “Shockingly, when she was taken to the showing clinic, there was nobody to take care of her on the grounds that they are on strike and when she was taken to another private healing center, which was not likewise in full operations, the woman had gone on.”
Teacher Ambali likewise communicated concern over the high rate of removal of understudies in the college.
