Suspected Boko Haram members allegedly kidnap eight persons in Oyo
Hmmm.. Now in Oyo state, some Suspected Boko Haram terrorists on stopped a commercial bus heading along Igboho-Igbeti Road and kidnaped eight passengers from the moving bus. According to Vanguard, the armed men were said to have coming out from a bush at Old Oyo National Park, and crossed the bus; they told all thr passengers to alight and board another vehicle they parked by the roadside.
Before forcing the passengers entering into their, the suspected terrorists held their victims hostage for some minutes before they took them to an unknown place. The source said the passengers of the bus were Igboho and also Ogbooro indigenes.
Adekunle Ajisebutu, the spokesperson of the Oyo State police command, the number of the victims kidnapped is yet unknown. He stated that the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, had recently deployed his men to the area to look for the abducted people.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed to Vanguard: “People in the area are now living in fear as there has been an influx of strange people.”
